Anita Lippitt Clay was born April 23, 1922, in Scheveningen in the Netherlands to Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell Walthour Lippitt. In 1928, the Lippitts moved to Savannah where Anita attended Pape School. She also studied at Ashley Hall in Charleston, SC, Rosemary Hall in Connecticut and earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in music from Sweet Briar College in Virginia. During World War II, Anita served proudly in the Army Air Corps as a corporal for two years. Returning to Savannah in 1946 when the war was over.

Allan Maxwell Chagan passed away Monday, September 19, 2022. He was born August 25, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Dr. Franklin Albert and Joyce Guthrie Chagan. Allan graduated from the Episcopal Academy in 1960 and then from Colgate University in 1964 with a degree in economics. He was also an All American and Captain of his soccer team while at Colgate. He went on to receive a master’s in business from American University. Allan was in the Army signal corps and served in Vietnam.

She was born January 1, 1937 in Savannah to the late Lester Shaw Kilpatrick and Helen Passmore Kilpatrick. In the late 1950’s Sarah was in the Miss Savannah Pageant, where she awarded Miss Congeniality. She retired as a Loan Officer after many years of service at numerous banks in Savannah and Florida. Growing up, he moved around a lot, attending multiple schools and graduating by the skin of his teeth from summer school in Hope Mills, N.C., in 1985. She was born September 22, 1939 in Claxton, GA to the late Rufus and Molly Mosley Anderson. Mrs. Keen retired from Mills Contracting as the office manager, and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Victor Donald Keen. He had a wonderful last day with visits from good friends and his family. All I can do is be thankful for 60 years with him. His parents, Julia Haywood Nichols and Francis Marion Nichols, lived in the home on 48th Street built by Julia's father.
